Allison – 11 Month Update

Allison – 11 Month Update

Allie is 11 months old!

What a month we’ve had! Allie started crawling 3 weeks ago and she’s been on the move ever since. Crawling has opened up a whole new world for Allie and because of it she’s going through a sleep regression. She’s been waking up 1-2 times a night with a big smile on her face, wanting to play. Gone are the days when I could lay her down on the floor on her playmat and watch her play. But she’s also so much more fun now. She loves to follow me from room to room and play with everything we don’t want her to.

I have to say, and I know I’ve said it before, but this is my favorite age! She is a ball of happiness and I can’t get enough of her. She has such a vibrant personality and will flirt and smile at everyone and anyone that will look her way. I’m so lucky to be her mommy. To wake up to her smiling face and steal as many baby kisses as I want. I could never have enough words to express how much I love her and how special she makes me feel day in and out.

One of my favorite things about this month is Allie’s ability to show us her love. She gives us hugs and kisses all the time. When Tony and I walk into the room she has the biggest smile on her face and will squeal with joy. Over the next four weeks I will be soaking up every moment of the end of her first year. I can’t wait to throw her a fabulous first birthday party and celebrate with all of our family and friends.

What’s new this month:

  • she started crawling
  • she started pulling herself up
  • she started mimicking us
  • she got her first bruise
  • she won’t let me put bows or hats on her anymore
  • she’s enjoying more food with flavor and spices
  • she went to her first Cubs game
  • she went to the beach for the first time

  • crawling
  • following mommy every where she goes
  • being in the stroller while mom runs
  • making grunting noises while she crawls
  • she loves attention from everyone
  • chicken, eggs, and fruit are her favorite

  • when I wipe her face
  • when I leave the room
  • when her meal is over

Things I want to remember:

  • The way she follows me around the house
  • Her sweet personality
  • How laid back she is
  • How she follows and loves watching the big kids
  • The way she watches and loves her niece Lylah

5:30am – 4-6 oz bottle
6:30am – 2 scrambled eggs, strawberries and blueberries

12:30pm – Avocado and veggies
2:30pm – 4 oz bottle
5:00pm – chicken, cottage cheese, and veggies
6:00pm – 4 oz bottle

Sleep: She usually wakes up around 5:30am, takes a nap on our way to stroller strides for 20 minutes at 8am, takes a 2 hour nap around 1pm, goes to sleep at 6:30pm, and wakes up for a bottle around 1:30am. Like I said, since she’s started crawling she’s been waking up 1-2 times at night.

She’s wearing size 4 diapers and 9 month clothes.

Happy 11 Months, Allie!
