Good morning! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I had an amazing weekend – yesterday was such a beautiful day and it was nice to sit back and relax.
While I was job searching wasting time on the internet I found my boot twin…
Now don’t tell me you’re not jealous. 😉 All the cool kids are sporting the boot!
Making light of my injury and laughing at myself makes me feel a whole lot better. I see my physical therapist on June 6th and hope to start running a little bit next week. Woohoo, I CAN’T WAIT!

To celebrate Memorial Day my Mom and Step-dad had a little BBQ and I was in charge of the veggies.
We grilled corn on the cob, peppers, zucchini, and eggplant.
We also had shish kabobs.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing in the sun with my new books.
I have never been consistent with weight lifting but after reading Kelly and Meghann’s posts I knew I wanted to buy The New Rules of Lifting for Women. Since I haven’t been able to run I’ve been lifting weights at home but I usually do the same exercises over and over again. I’m really enjoying the book so far and I think it’s going to help me stick to a plan and hopefully see results.
Look what I found at Target:
I haven’t been clothes shopping since December so buying this dress was exciting. I love the color and can’t wait to wear!

I still would choose my running anyday, but while booted up, it’s a decent stand in and I’m sure I’ll continue it afterwards, too! 4. Fantastic dress! Target suckers me in for clothing everytime!!!

I applaud you on the weight lifting–I just cannot get into it! Maybe you will inspire me to try! For now, I’ll just hope that you get that boot off ASAP so you can run again!
