Yesterday wasn’t a very good day.
It is very easy to get wrapped up in our personal bubble. I think it’s important to step outside of ourselves and reflect on the great things around us.
I’ve heard that people who write down what they are grateful for are significantly happier than people who do not verbalize their thankfulness.
I am grateful for:
My twin sister who is the smartest person I know and can always make me laugh.
My step-sister Whitney who I have so much in common with.
My dog Max who gives better kisses than any guy could.
AND………………..
Today I was able to run a mile PAIN FREE!
Training for the Chicago Marathon has officially begun. Wooohooo!! Eeek, I am seriously jumping for joy. =)
Running is a gift and I will never take it for granted again.

Congrats on the pain free run. And yay for things to be thankful for. It is so easy to get caught up with life and forget what means the most to us. Max is a cutie pie!
Good luck with training. 17.5 weeks to go!
