Pregnancy Update – 30 Weeks
Baby Allie is getting bigger!
I can’t believe I’m already 30 weeks pregnant with only 10 weeks to go! I’m feeling great, a little more tired than usual but I feel really good overall and I am so happy this pregnancy has been pretty easy for me this far. I’m crossing my fingers things stay this easy for the next 10 weeks.
Total weight gain: I found out my weight last week when I saw my doctor and I’m up 22 pounds. I’m okay with it because I’m eating healthy and still pretty active.
How far along? 30 weeks + 3 days
Due date? September 6, 2015
Baby’s size? Baby Allie is the size of a butternut squash (around 17 inches and 3.1 lbs.).
Workouts: Ran 15 miles total for the week.
- Monday: 2 mile run + 1 mile power walk on the treadmill.
- Tuesday: 2 mile walk on treadmill + 3 mile run w/ CES.
- Wednesday: 2 mile run + 2 mile walk.
- Thursday: Upper body weights.
- Friday: Rest day – I wasn’t feeling well.
- Saturday: 6 mile run while coaching with CES and felt really good! The rest of the group ran 7-8 miles, but I stopped at the aid station because I don’t want to over do it.
- Sunday: 2 mile run + 2 mile walk – my favorite!
Maternity Clothes: Still wearing a good mix of both. I’m mostly wearing yoga pants and Lululemon t-shirts because that’s what I feel most comfortable in.
Sleep: Sleeping 8-10 hours each night and waking up to pee at least 3x’s.
Best moment this week: Going to the Cubs game with my Dad and old friend, Allison Muth and getting our fence put in. Tony has been working so hard on our house and it’s looking really nice! <3
Miss anything? Sleeping on my stomach!
Movement: I’ve been feeling her move a lot more during the day.
Food cravings: I haven’t had any strong cravings this week. I’m still eating really healthy.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.
Gender: Girl!
Name: Allison Kay Larsen
Symptoms: Shortness of breath and hitting a wall around 4:00PM.

Happy or Moody: Feeling really happy and excited for the 4th of July, my baby shower, and to meet our baby girl soon!
Looking forward to: The 4th of July, my baby shower, and our next ultrasound.

Nice fence. I need to get one like that! Also, nice workouts for the week. I don’t know anything about weight gain and pregnancy, but I bet that Baby Allie is very happy that you have put on the pounds as she is a growing girl and needs nourishment! Did you name Allie after your old friend?

YES!!!!!! I did name her Allison (Allie) after my friend. I’ve loved my friends name ever since we were little. This was the first time we’ve seen each other in over 10 years!
Wow, Allie has grown a lot since that Week 22 photo! That’s awesome that you’re able to stay so active this far into your pregnancy. 🙂
I didn’t realize how big we were getting until I looked at old pictures! Running is getting tough, but I’m glad I’m still able to do it! 🙂
