Logan will be 1 in a few short weeks! This was the fastest year of my life.
Tony and I were talking about how we have really started to bond more with Logan. For so many months all he did was whine and cry and now that he’s a lot happier we can really get to know him better. It’s so cool to watch him develop his own personality. He is already a stereotypical boy who loves balls and trucks. He really loves to follow me and Allie from room to room and play with everything he can get his hands on.
What’s new this month:
- he started high fiving
- walks around with his walker all over the house
- went on our boat for the first time
- says dada all the time
- went to the exploritorium in Skokie for the first time and loved it
Likes:
- being on the move
- following mommy, daddy, and Allie everywhere we go
- eating all the time
- he loves attention from everyone
- veggie straws, peas, and fruit are his favorite foods
Dislikes:
- when I change his diaper
- when I set him down
- when his meal is over
- when Allie takes his toys
Things I want to remember:
- the way he follows me around the house
- the way he leans his head on me to show love
- his big smiles that light up a room
- the way he watches Allie
Eating: Here’s a typical day.
6:00 am – 4 oz bottle
6:30 am – 1 scrambled eggs, strawberries and blueberries
9:30 am – 4 oz bottle
12:30 pm – chicken, peas, carrots, and veggie straws
3:00 pm – 4 oz bottle
5:30 pm – chicken, cottage cheese, and veggies
6:30 pm – 4 oz bottle
Sleep: He usually wakes up around 6 am, takes a nap on the way home from bootcamp or preschool, takes a 2-hour nap around 1:30 pm, and goes to sleep around 7 pm. He usually doesn’t wake up at night – which is amazing!
He is wearing size 4 diapers and 12-month clothes.
Happy 11 Months, Logan!
I love you
