Logan is 2!

Logan turned 2 on October 1! I’m very behind on blogging – lol!

There are so many moments I wish I could bottle up and save; moments I know I will wish I could re-live.

I’m in shock that it’s been over two years since he was born. Life has been amazing, but also much harder since he was born. Logan is a spirited child with lots of opinions and wants to do everything his way. He can also be such a sweetheart who wants all your attention all the time.

2 years old for Logan has been very fun, but lots of hard moments. There are tantrums, especially when he wakes up in a bad mood, which can happen often. Lots of mornings he will wake up and scream for Daddy and he won’t let me take him out of the crib. He loves to test my patience, but day by day I’m learning how to give him lots of grace and love. I know being 2 is hard for him.

But the moments when he puts his head on my shoulder and wants me to carry him and love him are what I live for. This business of motherhood is so hard but so precious. And I feel so lucky to be in the midst of it.

A few of Logan’s favorite things right now:
– Doing and saying everything Allie does
– He has a large vocabulary and loves to talk
– Food, he’s such a good eater and will eat anything we give him
– Animals, especially Tucker and Sammie
– Dinosaurs
– He’s BFF Charlie
– He is obsessed with Daddy
– LOVES movies (Coco and Aladdin are his favorite right now)
– Music and playing his guitar
– Drinking out of Daddy’s water bottle
– Helping Mommy cook
– Throwing balls and ornaments – lol
– Cars and trains – he got a train table for Christmas and he loves it
