Good Morning!
Thank you so much for all the sweet comments on my last post! I don’t have a lot of people in my life who understand my love for running so your support means a lot to me. I’m meeting with my doctor on Tuesday to go over the MRI results and figure out a plan.
I feel like I’m on a roller coaster of emotions. One second I feel positive and the next second I’m crying and can’t imagine going to so long without running. I made a HUGE mistake yesterday afternoon when I Googled partial Achilles tendon tears. Reading about all people’s’ horror stories scared the crap out of me. I will not be doing that again and I’m not going to let this injury make me depressed. Life is so precious and I am grateful to be alive.
Today is an exciting day because my twin sister and I are going on a road trip.
We have a family reunion in Mississippi on Saturday so we’re going down early to have a couple of days of relaxing with the family. I’m really hoping for some warm weather.
This trip couldn’t come at a better time. My sister is hilarious so I know the road trip is going to be an adventure full of laughs.
I’m hoping we have the internet where we’re staying so I can blog about the adventures of boot girl on the “run.” 😉
