Pregnancy Update – 20 Weeks
We have officially reached the halfway point! I feel like I’ve been waiting for this for so long! I hope the next 20 weeks go by a little faster. I can’t wait to meet baby Allie!
How far along? 20 weeks + 2 days
Due date? September 6, 2015
Baby’s size? Baby Allie is as long as a banana!
Workouts: Ran 17 miles total for the week.
Monday: Walked 10,000 steps
Tuesday: Ran 6 miles (2 before coaching w/ CES and 3 with the group)
Wednesday: Walked 10,000 steps with my Mom while shopping for baby furniture. 🙂
Thursday: Ran 2 miles outside and stopped because Allie was on my bladder + walked 10,000 steps
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Ran 9 miles while coaching CES and felt great!
Sunday: 3 mile hike with Tony
Maternity clothes? I bought the most amazing product for running! It’s the GABRIALLA Elastic Maternity Belt that helps support the baby and supports your lower back. I felt so much better during the 9 mile run on Saturday. It kept Allie off my bladder and I felt like I could run faster. I’m hoping this helps me run up to 40 weeks!
Sleep: I’m still sleeping great!
Best moment this week: Shopping for baby furniture with my Mom. The below picture isn’t what we ended up buying, but we are ordered three pieces in white. The crib, a long dresser, and a taller dresser for extra storage.
Miss Anything? Smaller boobs for running, and fitting into my clothes.
Movement: I’m still feeling Allie move around at night right before I go to sleep.
Food cravings: FROZEN YOGURT!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing this week!
Gender: Girl!
Name: Allison Kay Larsen
Symptoms: Huge boobs, Allie moving, and my big baby bump! The rash on my face has finally started to go away – thank goodness!
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody: Happy and feeling like the old Sara 90% of the time.
Looking forward to: My next ultrasound on Friday
At 22 weeks pregnant, I miss my smaller boobs too. I never thought I’d say that, but working out used to be more comfortable and I’m suddenly so self-conscious of my bigger boobs haha! I suppose I’ll get use to it over the next four months!

Working out is way more comfortable with smaller boobs! I hope we get used to it because I’ve heard they don’t go away if we’re breastfeeding.
You look so fantastic!!! Love those baby furniture pieces that you picked out.
Oh man, I would actually love to have bigger boobs! But I can certainly understand how it would wreak havoc in running, especially when you’re not used to it. I curse those days when I am wearing a sports bra that isn’t supportive enough!

Thank you so much, Emily! Yes, its most uncomfortable while running. I might start wearing two sport bras soon.
So exciting. I never knew there was such a thing as a maternity belt! Nice workouts for the week!

Me either! But all the pregnant runner moms seem to know about it. Thank goodness for social media.
You look so cute! When you mentioned that baby Allie is as big as a banana, I literally looked at a real banana to get a better idea of her size. 🙂 Amazing!!
Way to go on your workouts!

haha, the real banana looks so big to me. It’s hard to imagine she’s growing in my body. Crazy!
