A month has passed since we welcomed Logan Henry into the world. It’s been a crazy whirlwind of a month. Things have been stressful, but I’m hoping we’ll start to adjust soon. It’s been tough, but a wonderful month. I thought having one kid was hard, but two kids are nonstop. Every single day I try to remember that my main job is to keep these two kids alive and to stop having such high expectations of what I can do in a day. My Coach Sara business, laundry, keeping the house spotless, going to a million play dates, etc. can all wait. We are in survival mode right now and I need to be okay with it.
We had our 1-month appointment last week and he is up to 9 pounds 15 oz (Allie was 7 lbs 12 oz at her 1 -month appt). He is a big boy!
The last few weeks have been full of fussiness, gassiness and reflux. He has terrible silent reflux and he will grunt for 1-2 hours after eating. We are starting him on reflux meds so hopefully, that will help.
Likes:
- cuddling with Mommy & Daddy
- sleeping in the Tula
- constantly eating
- visitors
- sleeping on Mommy’s chest
Dislikes:
- changing his diaper
- having gas & reflux
- having his clothes changed
- being put down
Eating: He eats like a champ! He has been wanting to eat every 1-2 hours.
Sleep: He has slept for 4 hours at night two times!!! But he is usually up to eat every 2 hours a night. Right now he is either sleeping on me, next to me or in the rock n play. We are traveling this weekend, but as soon as we get back we are going to start having him sleep in the pack n play.
He is able to turn his head from side to side during tummy time.
He is wearing size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes.
He loves watching Allie play.
He has light blue eyes and we really hope they stay that way
Happy 1 month, Logan!
How is Allie adjusting to having him around? Or did I ask you this already?
I can’t get over how much they look alike.
