Pregnancy Update – 29 Weeks

Week 29 was a great one. It was filled with family, friends, a 5k race, and a fun night out with Tony. On Thursday night Tony and I went to see our favorite band, the Wheelhouse in Libertyville. It was nice to get out and spend quality time together, especially because we only have 11 more weeks being a family of two. It was also the first time Tony and I have been out in public in a large crowd where everyone was making comments about my baby bump. 🙂

Pregnancy Update – 29 Weeks

29 weeks

How far along? 29 weeks + 3 days

Due date? September 6, 2015

Baby’s size? Baby Allie is the size of a cabbage (around 17 inches and 2.9 lbs.).

Workouts: Ran 11 miles total for the week + lots of walks.

  • Monday: 2 mile run + 2 mile walk. This is my favorite combo lately.
  • Tuesday: 2 mile run + upper body workout w/ CES + 3 mile walk
  • Wednesday: 2 mile run + 2 mile walk.
  • Thursday: 2 mile run + 2 mile walk.
  • Friday: 4 mile walk.
  • Saturday: 6 mile walk to the farmer’s market w/ Tony.
  • Sunday: 3.1 mile run – I ran the 5k Race Against Hate w/ my Family. I orginally signed up for the 10k, but decided to run with my brother in-law, Ari. It was his first race and we ran the whole thing without stopping. He called me his professional running coach. 🙂

Maternity clothes? Yes! Lately the only thing I want to wear are running capris and my men’s Lululemon t-shirts.

Sleep: Sleeping 8-10 hours each night and waking up to pee at least 3x’s.

Best moment this week: I can’t just pick one! The Wheelhouse concert, 5k race, and spending Father’s Day with my family.

Miss anything? I miss my old body! This week I’m feeling huge and I have no idea how I’m going to handle 11 more weeks of Allie growing inside me.

Movement: Lots of movements at night and I’m feeling her more and more during the day.

Food cravings: This quinoa salad I made for Father’s Day and watermelon.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Gender: Girl!

Name: Allison Kay Larsen

Symptoms: Shortness of breath and getting super sleepy in the afternoon. I haven’t felt like I needed an afternoon nap since the first trimester and now it’s back. 🙁

Belly Button in or out? In.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody: Emotional. It’s been one big hormone fest/pity party around here lately. A part of me feels like I can’t believe we only have 11 weeks left and I’m not sure I’m ready for such a big change and another part of me feels like 11 weeks is a lifetime away!

Looking forward to: Our next ultrasound at 32 weeks.
