Pregnancy Update –  32 Weeks

32 weeks

We are officially under the 2 month mark!

This week had it’s ups and downs. I felt good majority of the week, but felt terrible on Thursday. I ended up staying in bed most of the day because I only slept 2-3 hours the night before, had no energy, and my stomach was really unsettled. It felt like the 1st trimester was happening all over again. I woke up on Friday feeling back to my normal self and I’ve felt fine the rest of the weekend. I even ran 6 miles on Saturday and felt like I could have gone a few more miles.

Total weight gain: 22 pounds at my last appointment 2 weeks ago. I’ll find out how much I weigh when I see my doctor tomorrow.

How far along? 32 weeks

Due date? September 6, 2015

Baby’s size? Baby Allie is the size of a large jicama (around 19 inches and 3.9 lbs.).

Workouts: Ran 12 miles total for the week. Maxie was staying with us so I did a lot of walking with him.

Max

  • Monday: 2 mile run + 3 mile walk + upper body weights
  • Tuesday: 2 mile run w/ CES + 3 mile walk + push ups and tricep dips
  • Wednesday: 3 mile walk w/ Max
  • Thursday: 4 mile walk w/ Max
  • Friday: 2 mile run + 3 mile walk w/ Max
  • Saturday: 6 mile run coaching CES
  • Sunday: 4 miles w/ Max

Maternity Clothes: Still wearing a good mix of both. I’m wearing the same outfits over and over again, but I don’t want to buy any more maternity clothes.

Sleep: I had a terrible night on Wednesday and I’ve been waking up around 3AM starving. I woke up and ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich twice this week.

Best moment this week: Running 6 miles with CES. I’m still going to coach on Tuesday nights until I go into labor, but Saturday was my last long run with the group. They are starting to get over 10 miles and I’m not going to be able to keep up with them. I LOVE Saturday mornings coaching in the South Loop so I’m really going to miss it.

Miss anything? I’m missing a lot of things lately, but I only have 8 more weeks.

Movement: She’s still doing a lot of wiggling. I can tell she hasn’t moved head down – in position yet because I’m not feeling her feet in my ribs and I don’t have any pelvic pressure yet. I’m sure that will happen within the next couple of weeks.

Food cravings: Pizza!!! Confession: Thursday was the first time in my life I’ve ever ordered pizza. Yes, I’ve eaten pizza, but I’ve never had a crazy craving and ordered it my self. Tony was shocked when he found me laying in bed on Thursday ordering it. I ordered a small thin crust with lots of veggies and ate the whole thing. It was delicious and I’ll definitely be ordering it again soon.

  1. Agreed on the starving or stuffed thing. Although, I get stuffed far too easily! I can’t imagine how much worse it’ll be at 32 weeks!

  2. Knocking out 6 miles after having the day before being rough? Good for you on making that happen. Talk about inspiration :).

  3. That pizza sure looks yummy! What? You had never ordered pizza before in your life?! I think I’ve ordered a pizza at least once a week since I was 18! There is a mom & pop pizza place on my corner and they get a lot of calls from my house! Although I do pick them up. 🙂
