Pregnancy Update – Week 10

Pregnancy Update – Week 10

Happy Friday! What’s everyone up to this weekend? Do you have any fun Valentine’s Day plans? I am very excited for a laid back Saturday at home with Tony. I’m not coaching with CES tomorrow so I think we’ll sleep in, watch a couple of movies and order in food for dinner. Sounds like a perfect day to me. Sunday will be busy because my Mom and I are going to Lake Geneva to go to lunch with my best friend, Cait and then I’m going to rush home to my twin sister’s celebration dinner. We are celebrating her new job at the Hines VA. She graduates with her PHD this May and she was already offered her dream job. I’m so proud of her!

Last Sunday when I was officially 10 weeks pregnant I announced that we’re having a baby on Facebook. I was so overwhelmed with all the sweet comments everyone left for me and Tony. I love that everyone knows and I don’t have to hide it anymore.

Pregnancy Update – 10 Weeks

How far along? 10 weeks + 5 days

Due date? September 6, 2015

Baby’s size? Baby Larsen is the size of a large date.

Total weight gain: I lost a pound this week so I’ve only gained 3 pounds so far. Because I was right below my “ideal body weight” before getting pregnant my doctor wants me to gain around 35-40 pounds, but we’ll see what my body does.

Maternity clothes? Nope, still wearing leggings most of the time.

Stretch marks? Nope, but I’m starting to put coconut oil all over my body after I shower.

Sleep: 8-9 hours. Still going to bed around 8:30pm-9:00pm every night.

Best moment this week: RUNNING 3 MILES WITHOUT STOPPING!! I first did this on Tuesday and then again today. I still feel really out of shape while I’m running, but once I’m done I feel on top of the world. 🙂

Miss Anything? I wish I could drink wine on Valentine’s Day, but that’s about it.

Movement: Not yet.

Food cravings: CARBS, bagels, spring rolls, frozen yogurt, chicken, and chocolate.

Froyo

Spring Rolls

Anything making you queasy or sick: Strong smells.

Gender: TBD

Name: TBD

Symptoms: Tired and still nauseous in the mornings.

Belly Button in or out? In.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody: Pretty happy this week especially after running 3 miles without stopping.

Looking forward to: Helping my Mom plan my baby shower. 🙂

Do you have any fun plans this weekend?

  2. Love your announcement! Congrats on your awesome runs! Hope you continue to feel strong. I have Valentine’s plans to go to a party with my husband to see a bunch of his friends, but I’m not feeling well so I may be spending my evening on the couch. Keeping my fingers crossed that I heal quickly!

  6. 35 to 40 pounds??? Whoa! That sounds like a lot to put on a quarter of the way through! Keep piling topping on that frozen yogurt 🙂

I’m so happy to hear you and the baby are doing well, and it’s so great that you’re getting back into running! I think it can always be hard and frustrating, but remembering how awesome it feels when you’re done is so important.

  7. LOL, no they want me to to gain 35-40 pounds total for the whole pregnancy. Otherwise, I would have run out of that office screaming they’re crazy. 😉

Yes, running doesn’t seem easy, but I love the feeling I get afterwards. Thank you, Anne!
